*Final Book Covers*

After enlarging, cutting, editing, ect. I at last had my final design done. Below is a picture of the template I made for the covers w the actually magazine cutouts and transparencies overlayed on it.  Above are the designs after I scanned them into the Computer.  I ended up having to use photoshop a little to get rid of the outline of the transparencies and make the proportions correct.

Editing

I designed the type layout for the binding. Then I played around with the font size, and layout of it for the titles, and quotes on the back on the covers.  Displayed above are some of the choices I went through.

Cutouts

Above are examples of magazine cutouts, xeroxes, paper, transparencies, and fonts that I used to construct my Book Covers.

Modern Shakspeare Brainstorm

Our assignment this time was to pick tree of Shakespeare's plays and design a book cover for them. Above are my first sketched/thumbnails...

Learning the Ropes

After choosing my favorite hand drawn Idea, we scanned it into the computer and we began learning how to edit/manipulate it on Illustrator. Our first focus was to finalize our Logo, then we moved on to designing the poster for the festival, and last, but not least we created the t-shirt logo.
